Last night the end of summer concert was the Fray. Not bad, but thats it? I was beyond thrilled when i found out that K'naan was coming to with Maroon 5 to Sacred Heart University in November! I have been bragging to all of my friends and i know that he will have the sickest show here to date! I am beyond pumped!

Knaan in Louisville

Assalamu alaikum So happy to see that Knaan is coming to Louisville. An utter surprise that Bellarmine would be involved. How very progressive of them! Some in the Somali community are worried that the tickets will be sold out on the first day they are on sale only to students. The First Good Thing My College Has Done This Year!!!

I don't even know how to express how awesome it felt to get an email from Bellarmine University 30min ago saying that K'Naan was going to be performing on campus. I immediately called all of my friends, ran home (my roommates were waiting at the door because they could hear my screaming half a block away haha), hugged my dog...who loves K'naan also....and well basically freaked out until I realized I have homework due at noon. Kicked Pushed

I hate that! K'naan music has gotten me through some of my own tribulations. He's been through enough though. Sweden's got s*** nobody as far as I'm concerned now. "Kicked Pushed" couldn't have done it any better. Not to mention his spit was sick!

Tonight

The sound system at Algonquin College SUCKS!!!!!! Hope K'naan never plays there again, if they do not get a new system. K'naan, please ignore the idiots in the crowed, never give them your attention, they made the decision to come to a concert; they should not interrupt the performance.
