K'NAAN and Nelly Furtado performed 'Is Anybody Out There" on the Ellen DeGeneres Show today.  I normally don't watch her show, but I had to check it out.  K'NAAN always gives great performances and this one is no different, plus it doesn't hurt that he was accompanied by the always beautiful Nelly.  If you missed it, watch it for yourself …

Just saw K'NAAN's "Nothing to Lose" remix video on VEVO.  It wasn't was what I was expecting, in a good way.  This version is more hip hop than the original version, and you can really feel the darker message in K'NAAN's lyrics that was a little clouded by the more pop original.  Both versions are great, but I'm really feeling the remix.
